Born in Brasília on April 2th, 1966, and graduated in Journalism at PUC in Rio de Janeiro,
Marcel began his career as a reporter for newspapers: "Correio
Brasiliense" and "Jornal do Brasil" – in the Culture section. Then moving to TV, working for channel Globo, in the early 1990s, debuting as editor of
the program "Fantástico."
Marcel contacted us to design a logo that could identify the simplicity and
dynamism of his writing. It also, challenged us to develop a straightforward website that, in six months or before, would be on Google's first page.
Upon research, Marcel's social media platforms were already at google's top. The challenge was developing 'the' website that would
quickly find its way there, given his former one was close to last.
At
Marcel's website launch end, it was on the 24th page of Google. We immediately
started implementing strategy, marketing and a design system, luring the website to the top, where it still stands today.
